Situation

Ziploc was launching a product innovation that promised to solve the dumpster fire that is happening is purses everywhere. Organized, durable, and stylish bags from a trusted food storage brand.

My team was asked to defined the sub brand and establish the process for designing the graphics on the bags themselves.

Action

We tapped into the relevant strengths of the brand with the “Contain the Clutter” sub brand. The runway inspired us as we defined the style personalities like “Boho” and “Rocker.” Each season we found our muse and set out designing bags for their purse. We asked ourselves, “What would Billie Eilish spark to?”

Result

This on-time and on budget project saw three seasons and over 150 SKUs. We created a culture or trend hunting within the halls of SC Johnson all the way up to the CEO.
